Brief biography

Born 1952, as a farmer's son in Switzerland. Apprenticeship as type compositor in the old-fashioned way (like Gutenberg...) and later with computer. Since 1983, free-lance graphic design, calligraphy and typography in Amsterdam (the Netherlands).

Passionate about peace / unity as a condition for cultural and spiritual freedom, which will lead to humanity's next evolutionary step, the Supramental (according to the late Indian philosopher and r-evolutionary Sri Aurobindo). Permanent education in differing fields, especially in what allows humanity to triumph over age-old limitations and adversities. A spirit of sharing and supporting enhances connectedness and creativity. Early on an interest for solutions, gradually on a planetary scale. Spiritually motivated practical concepts in various fields. In 1975, I became aware of the intrinsic unity of humanity, similar to the Gaya hypothesis (Earth as a living organism).

To express this in a specific way, I created the name and concept of Planetwork in 1983. As a consequence of these insights, a focus on recycling and sustainable technology developed. 'Recyclus.com' EcoLogics was initiated in 1988. In 2002, I learned about Starrport and got inspired to further its realization.
